Cardiac Electrophysiology, University of California San Francisco. Research laboratory seeks qualified individual to work in active cardiac electrophysiology laboratory. Applicant should have an advanced degree (PhD) in Biomedical Science or related field, and experience in several of the following areas: cardiac electrophysiology, cell culture, molecular biology, patch clamping, biochemistry, mouse physiology/transgenic techniques, optical mapping, fluorescent imaging, and confocal microscopy.  Excellent English verbal and written skills required. Examples of research include molecular, cellular, and tissue basis of cardiac arrhythmias, gap junction biology, transgenic models of arrhythmias, signaling and cytokines in remodeling and arrhythmias, myocardial propagation and repolarization.
